This limited edition book tells the story of Sheffield Indoor Trial from the beginning and when Avondale Management first boarded over the ice rink back in 1996 in order for Martin Lampkin to be able to build a course worthy of the international riders that his partner Neil Crosswaite had signed up to compete in the first ever edition of an event that has become an important part of Trial history over the last two and a half decades.

Within the pages of the beautifully designed perfect bound publication the key editions of this now famous event are revisited. Features covering magical moments such as when Dougie Lampkin made his Montesa debut in 2000, plus when he suffered his first Sheffield defeat in 2003 after losing out in a last section showdown to Albert Cabestany bring these iconic occasions back to life. The book also covers other significant milestones like in 2006 when Toni Bou took his maiden victory and in 2010 when Cabestany was back on top to end Bou’s own winning run.

More recent happenings such as Adam Raga’s surprise win in 2016 and Bou’s record extending twelfth Sheffield victory in January 2019 are also included to make the book a true collector’s item as Sheffield Indoor Trial celebrates its 25th anniversary. Exclusive interviews about their own Sheffield memories with Steve Colley / Dougie Lampkin / James Dabill / Toni Bou / Adam Raga and Takahisa Fujinami make for great reading and make this a must buy book.
